Lufthansa to Launch A380 Flights to Singapore

Lufthansa is to serve its South-East Asian gateway in Singapore with a brand new Airbus A380, from 30 October 2011.

Lufthansa currently flies its flagship A380 aircrafts to Frankfurt, Tokyo, Beijing, Johannesburg, New York, San Francisco and soon Miami.

Singapore will be served daily by Lufthansa?s A380 on the Frankfurt route that connects into the airline?s main hub in Germany.

With the new A380, Lufthansa is also launching completely new First and Economy Class cabins along with its award winning Business Class in its South East Asian markets. Lufthansa has developed new cabins in collaboration with its frequent flying customers and introduces technologies and materials from Lufthansa Technik?s private-jet workshop in Hamburg.

Lufthansa also plans to increase its capacity at the Singapore Changi Airport by 25% come winter 2012.

�Lufthansa?s customers travelling to and from Indonesia can look forward to an upgrade as Jakarta will be served via Singapore on a daily basis by Lufthansa?s Airbus A340 from 30 October 2011. The flight connects into Lufthansa?s hub in Munich.
