Obscene MMS threat: Teenage girl tries to commit suicide
New Delhi, Dec 31 (PTI) A teenage student attempted suicide in west Delhi after a youth allegedly tried to blackmail her with an obscene MMS clip, police said today. The victim, a Class XII student, is under treatment at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital after she unsuccessfully tried to end her life by hanging herself from the ceiling. A 20-year-old youth has been detained in connection with the incident, they said. In her statement, the girl told police that the youth forced her for a relationship and made an MMS clip after taking her photographs from her album. He had allegedly threatened her a few days ago that if she will not be ready for a relationship with him, he will make the MMS public. When she did not heed his threat, he gave the clip to some of his friends, police said.
