Jersey Shore Florence: Cast Works At O'Vesuvio Pizza Place

AP Images

Stop the presses: MTV has set the "Jersey Shore" cast with quite the stereotypical summer job--working at a pizza parlor.

But wait, it gets better: The cast is working at O'Vesuvio pizza parlor, which is conveniently located amongst a number of tourism spots like the Ponte Vecchio, the Boboli Gardens and the Uffizi Gallery.

Though the cast has pretty much been banned from filming in these sights, the crew is still working at the pizza parlor where a basic mozzarella pizza goes for 5 Euro, the AP reports.

The AP caught up with "DJ Pauly D" Paul Del Vecchio passing fliers out outside the pizzeria. In typical fashion, the self-proclaimed guido pitches: "Best pizza in the world. Ciao, buona sera."

Tourists from Canada have visited O'Vesuvio in hopes of seeing their idols. Gabrielle Guzzo, from Vancouver, told the AP that the stars were just "regular 20 year olds" (shocking!).

The group is reportedly frequenting club Twice while in town. Located on Via Verdi, the dance club lies not so far from O'Vesuvio.

Moral of the story: If you happen to be in Florence this summer, be sure to hit up these two spots...you're bound to see an overly-tanned D-list celeb there.
