Memorial Day 2011: Where Are You Going?

Getty Images

The unofficial beginning of summer starts this weekend with Memorial Day. Grills will be used, pools will be swum in and beaches will be crowded as Americans across the country head, hopefully, outdoors to play.

Gas prices might impede travel plans with the national average hovering around $3.80 a gallon (down from a few weeks ago when prices were hovering around $4 per gallon).

Take a look at the handy GasBuddy.com to see where gas costs the most and where you can score some deals.

Really slow on the uptake and need a real last-minute plan? Check out our list of easy (and cheap) getaways for this Memorial Day weekend--from Yellowstone to Washington, D.C.
