Northeast Airport Delays Due To Severe Weather

The southern United States isn't the only area of the country being hit with severe weather: airport delays are rampant across the northeastern corridor on Thursday.

New York's LaGuardia airport is facing delays of roughly 1 to 3 hours; Philadelphia's airport is experiencing delays of roughly an hour.

Newark Airport seems to be the hardest hit with delays of up to 4 hours and 45 minutes.

Farther south, currently Baltimore-Washington International has canceled all outgoing traffic until at or after 2pm.

The National Weather Service said there was a thunderstorm warning for the Tri-State area through 1:15pm.
